Soke Aiko Tomoyori

She start karate at the age of 10 under the tutelage of his father Ryuichiro Tomoyori, a second generation Soke.

His father was a strict student of the basics, and she  learned the fundamentals of karate well.

In her  second year of college, she won in 1988 the All Japan Student Karate Championship in the women’s division.

In the same year, she  also participated in the Kyoto National Athletic Meet.

In June 2014, the 2nd Soke passed away and she  succeeded as the 3rd Soke of Kenyu-ryu Karate-do.

Soke Aiko Tomoyori teach karate to students at the Honbu Dojo as well as to overseas branch dojos.
